    Breakfast Club

    In Breakfast Club the children can engage in a variety of activities to encourage a calm and yet stimulating start to the morning ready for their day at school. They are offered a healthy choice of cereals, toast and a drink to set them up for the day. Break club is open from 7.45am until 8.40am. The cost of the breakfast club is 7.45am – 8.4am £4.50 and 8.30am – 8.40am £1.50. To book and pay for a place please visit the ‘My Child At School’ App.

    After School Club

    After School Club runs from 3.00pm – 6.00pm and is available to all our children. Lots of indoor and outdoor activities (weather dependent) will be available. The cost will be £9 per session, regardless of the length of time stayed. A 20% reduction will be applied to siblings attending the same session. A healthy snack will include a choice of pitta bread, crumpets, bagels, etc. as well as a drink will be provided.

    EXTRA-CURRICULAR CLUBS

    As well as a vibrant class based curriculum, we provide a wide range of curricular clubs which all children can join. Our aim is for the children to excel in different areas of interest and skill; curricular clubs can provide this as well as an opportunity to get to know other members of the academy family.     Saints Southwest: 

    The Spring Club – There will be a Football Club for KS2 every Thursday for KS2 (3.15pm – 4.15pm) and Dodgeball on Friday from 3.15pm – 4.15pm. You can book your child via this link – https://saints-southwest.classforkids.io/term/97

    Frazoo Club: 

    Has returned in the Spring Term for Year 4. The Frazoo Club on a Tuesday after school with real exotic animals and will include handling the animals, a species information sheet, a photo and an in-depth talk and discussion covering a range of topics eg Conservation, Latin names, Habitats, Food Chains, Zoo Ethics and Care of Exotics.     Drama Club: 

    The Drama Club is open for all children and is takes place every Wednesday lunchtime for Reception and Year 1, every Wednesday 3.15 -4.15pm for Years 3 – 6 and every Thursday lunchtime for Years 2 – 4. Please contact Rachel at rachelsavage@pm.me

    Photo Seeds: 

    This club will be exploring the magic of photography using fun and simple methods. This will take place every Monday & Thursday from 3.15 – 5pm for Years 2 – 6. To find out more information and how to book a place please click on this link Photo Seeds Club — Emma Stoner Photography

    Eco Arts and Crafts Club: 

    The children will learn how to use seasonal crafts encouraging place attachment, nature connection and sustainable action. This will take place every Tuesday 3.15 – 4.30pm for Years 4 – 6 and every Wednesday 3.15 – 4.3opm for Years 1 – 3. Please contact Rhiannon at rhiannonmcclane@gmail.com

    Spanish Club

    This is a Spanish club run by Kidslingo for children in all year groups and is £6 per session. The club will run during a Monday or Tuesday lunchtime. To register your child please click on the link

    Gardening Club

    Garden Club takes place on Monday and Friday lunch times and is open to all.  Miss Eyland guides the children in nurturing our school environment so that all children feel a sense of stewardship for our school.  Working with the seasons, children learn to plant seeds, care for the plants and wildlife around the school and create artwork using pressed flowers and leaves. 

    Quiet Club

    Quiet club is set in our library, offering a calm, quiet environment for all children to access at lunch time with adult support.  It is open to all children.

    Music Lessons

    Children can access music lessons with one of our Peripatetic teachers who teach:

    • Ukulele
    • Drums
    • Recorder
    • Flute

    Rocksteady

    The Sound of Self-Belief

    Rocksteady is the leading provider of in-school band lessons for primary age children.

    Our inclusive approach helps children find a sense of belonging through new friendships and a shared love for music, whilst boosting social skills, wellbeing and confidence.

    Your child can learn to play an instrument in their very own band with no experience necessary! Guided by inspirational musicians, children learn songs they love in a fun and supportive in-school group setting.

    Craft Club

    Wednesdays 3:15-4:30 for Years 4-6

    I'm Helen Mepham, a grandparent at the school and a handwork teacher of 10+ years experience. Children from years 4, 5 and 6 are invited to come and craft. We'll be sewing, decoupaging, using clay, papier mache, and more. I bring the ideas and materials and the children get crafting using their imagination and fine motor skills. All materials are included in the cost, £10/session.

    Please note dates for this half-term will be Apr 30th, May 7th and May 21st.
